Young New Jersey native Danielle Balbuena aka 070 Shake goes where few other Kanye West proteges have gone before: album cycle. No clue where Yeezy plucked her up from but safe to say she stole the show on a handful of appearances on the Ye album, and now gets to spread out on a full-length LP. The record includes some of the hallmarks of a Kanye-adjacent project (Mike Dean, Francis Starlite) with plenty of wild flare (Tomita samples, a Gamble & Huff cover). Kinda dig the H.R. Giger and Helvetica aesthetic of the art direction as well, even if it’s been done to death. Orange marble vinyl, limited copies.
